Team Leader - TFM

35hrs flex Freeport location Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and six (6) months of employment experience required Good communication skills Must be a qualified New York State driver Ability to read, write and understand the English language at a level that permits them interact and communicate safely with porters, porters assistants, other staff members as well as keep open lines of communication with supervisors and customers Minimum six months of experience in the field Floor experience in buffing, stripping, and waxing preferred Minimum requirements include but not limited to: The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, flexibility in schedule, clean driving record and reliable means of transportation The team leader will be required to be a working leader Assist the TFM supervisor and/or TFM Coordinator in the daily operations of a facility or location Assist in managing the porters/porter assistants on duty Assist in assigning porters/porter assistants job assignments based on their skills Assist in taking supply inventory and maintaining the supply inventory for their assigned facility Train new employees on chemicals, safety, proper cleaning strategies as well as the use and maintenance of equipment Ensure a safe working environment for all employees Ensure that porters/porters assistants are adhering to all company policies and procedures Notify the TFM supervisor and/or TFM coordinator with all complaints and concerns in a timely manner Assist in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction Provide a high quality-level of service Performs all additional related duties as requested by supervisor and/or administration Physical Demands/Work Environment: Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching over head and reaching forward. Must be able to pull, lift and/or carry up to 50lbs.
