Behavioral health services and positive behavioral supports are provided to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by Masters level Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS)
Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Provide behavioral services designed to maximize the intellectual, social, and emotional development and functioning of individuals receiving services under the supervision of a Sr BIS or Assistant Director of Psychology and Ph.D. licensed psychologist. Practices and promotes the agency mission statement in every interaction. Provide ongoing support to people in becoming active participants in every aspect of their lives and to ensure that a high quality of life is maintained.
Qualifications: Master degree from a program in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology required.
