Overview

Provides support for the Residential Services Program to ensure effective and efficient operation as well as compliance with policies and regulations. Must be able to travel from site to sitewhen assigned and participate in elements of the position that include review of compliance issues. Must be available for weekend and overnight visits as assigned by the Residential Director.

Responsibilities

Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

  • Conducts compliance reviews and works to resolve systemic findings including oversight of plans of corrective action development and submission
  • Evaluates payroll to ensure appropriate utilization of overtime and staffing, as assigned by the Residential Director. Completes reports as required.
  • Identifies areas of need with regard to proper billing documentation in the Medisked system and trains all applicable staff to ensure compliance.
  • Maintains and Monitors program electronic record database inclusive of required billing compliance documentation (i.e. Staff Action Plans, Life Plans, and distribution of Staff Action Plans as required etc)
  • Provides technical support for residential staff with all web based applications (Medisked, Paramount, etc.) as directed by the Residential Director.
  • Tracks and maintains electronic database of completed drills for the program, and assists with conducting supervised overnight fire drills, as assigned by the Residential Director.
  • Assists with completion of receipts in Paramount Purchasing System.
  • Provides coverage for a caseload in the absence of a Program Assistant Director (example: vacations, leave of absence); provides on call coverage when necessary and as assigned by the Residential Director.
  • Trains applicable staff on all aspects of residential operations as directed by the Residential Director
  • Management and tracking of vacation proposals and camp applications and submissions.
  • Works with other departments to ensure new initiatives are effectively implemented and operating.
  • Participates on committees as assigned by the Residential Director.
  • Performs other job-related duties as requested by the Residential Director.
  • Ensures that work-related safety procedures are in place and are being adhered to by staff. Observance of an unsafe act or a potentially hazardous work environment must be immediately reported to supervisor and/or safety committee.

 

This position requires regular and substantial unsupervised or unrestricted physical contact with people receiving services and, therefore, is subject to successful completion of fingerprint/criminal background check.

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field preferred.
  • Extensive experience in program operations and/or compliance may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with people with a developmental/intellectual disability; including three (3) years in a position responsible for the oversight of day to day residential operations, and three (3) years’ experience with supervision of a program required.
  • Ability to master all Microsoft Suite applications and internal web applications (example: Somroli, Medisked, Ulti-pro, etc.).
